Bereavement Notice

It is with deep sorrow that HAKIARDHI announces the passing of our esteemed Board
Chairperson and member, MR. ALQUIN MATHEW SENGA, which occurred on 6th May,
2025, at Muhimbili Mloganzila Hospital in Mloganzila, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The late Mr. Senga was not only a pillar of strength and wisdom for HAKIARDHI but also a
passionate advocate for land rights and social justice. His visionary leadership, dedication,
and unwavering commitment have immensely shaped the direction and impact of our
institution, and profoundly inspired all of us to pursue our mission with integrity and resolve.

While we grieve this great loss, we will always remember his remarkable life and legacy, as
we remain committed to upholding the values and vision that the late Mr. Senga championed.
We are grateful for your continued partnership and support as we honor his legacy and
continue the important work we began together.

Our prayers and heartfelt condolences are with his family and loved ones.
